VOCAL MENTOR
Marty has been working full time in the music industry for over 20 years, performing all over Australia at various pubs, clubs, theatres, stages, entertainment centres, opera houses, stadiums, cruise ships and street corners.

Marty has worked as vocal coach and backing vocalist on the first 6 seasons of “The Voice” (The Nine Network), working closely with The Madden Brothers, Delta Goodrem, Jessie J, Ronan Keating, Seal, Boy George, Kelly Rowland, Will.I.Am, Ricky Martin, Kylie Minogue and Keith Urban.

As a backing vocalist he has sung with such artists as Good Charlotte, Adele, Lionel Richie, Brian Cadd, Glenn Shorrock, John Paul Young, Russell Morris, Doug Parkinson, Jim Keays and many more.

On stage Marty has performed lead roles in NORPA’s “The Cars That Ate Paris” (1998), NDAC’s “Tick Tick Boom!” (2010), “Rent” (2011) and “The Wild Party” (2012). More recently he played Judas in TNTC’s “Jesus Christ Superstar” (2015), Captain Hook in Hunter Drama’s “Peter Pan” (2015) and Roger in Hunter Drama’s “Rent” (2017).

Marty also works as a vocal coach for “All Together Now” (Channel 7) and still performs regularly with a number of local acts including powerhouse band “The Rumour” with fellow Voice Studio tutor Karyn.
