Marty Worrall is a singer-songwriter and singing teacher who has been working full time in the music industry for the past 18 years, performing all over Australia and the South Pacific at various pubs, clubs, theatres, stages, entertainment centres and cruise ships.

In 2004 he was a top 6 finalist on the 2nd season of Australian Idol and has gone on to release a number of independent singles.

In 2007 Marty was invited to perform his song “One Day” as part of the “Colourful Yunnan” Festival at the Sydney Opera House, a performance that was broadcast to China as well as a duet in traditional Mandarin with Chinese star Tan Can.

On stage Marty has appeared in lead roles in NORPA’s The Cars That Ate Paris and NDAC’s Tick Tick Boom!, Rent and The Wild Party.

As a songwriter Marty has written extensively both in Australia and the U.S. and has had success with one of his songs being included on a top 10 album in Canada.

Marty now works as a session singer and vocalist in numerous bands in Newcastle and Sydney and is the current in-house backing vocalist for Channel 9’s “The Voice”, working alongside artists such as Seal, Joel Madden, Delta Goodrem, Keith Urban, Lionel Richie, Will.I.am, Kylie Minogue and Ricky Martin.
