Tyler, an avid singer and guitarist, has been captivating audiences in the Newcastle/Hunter region from a young age. With 8 years of performance experience in Star Struck, along with 2 years as a soloist in Schools Spectacular, Tyler has dedicated countless hours to refining his skills across various facets of performance.

Having graduated from the Talent Development Project, Tyler furthered his education with a full-time year of study at Brent Street, earning a Diploma of Musical Theatre in 2018 and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Speech Pathology at the University of Newcastle.

In addition to his studies, Tyler has shared has a myriad of teaching experience including private and group lessons while studying at Brent Street, 2 years as a vocal/movement director in Star Struck as well as at spending some time at our very own The Voice Studio!

Tyler’s passion extends to the stages of Newcastle, where he has portrayed memorable characters such as Mamma Mia’s Pepper (The Very Popular Theatre Co., 2019), Chicago’s Fred Casely (Chookas, 2022), Legally Blonde’s Kyle (Chookas, 2023), and Carl Hanratty in Catch Me If You Can (What Theatre Co., 2024). He also recently appeared on Season 3 of Australian Idol, and is set to take the stage as a backing vocalist & dancer on Australian pop Diva “Bek’s” European tour in 2025.

In addition to his theatrical endeavours, Tyler is a sought-after musician in the Newcastle/Hunter region, performing at popular venues, weddings, and corporate functions. With a passion for the voice and a commitment to lifelong learning, Tyler continues to expand his knowledge and support others on their creative journeys.
